Enterprises wanting to provision & broker virtual desktops on CloudStack can use virtual desktop infrastructure (VDI) tools such as XenDesktop. For services providers and even enterprises wanting to build a comprehensive multi-tenant DaaS solution, per-tenant network-isolated XenDesktop Sites can be used to offer a secure multi-tenant self-service. This approach enables a much more feature rich solution than oversimplified alternatives to self-managed DaaS. This talk presents a reference architecture that relies on CloudStack networking for the isolation of discreet XenDesktop environments. Setup is automated using CloudFormation templates executed using StackMate.
